His last rites were conducted with full state honors on Friday afternoon at Satyanagar crematorium in Bhubaneswar, a testament to the immense respect and admiration he commanded.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led the tributes, expressing his deep sorrow and acknowledging the irreplaceable void left by the legendary actor. Condolences poured in from across the political spectrum and the film fraternity, including BJP National Vice President Baijyant Panda and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
