Noor Ahmad

Noor Ahmad Lakanwal (born 3 January 2005) is a rising star in Afghan cricket. His left-arm unorthodox spin bowling has quickly made him a sought-after player internationally.

Early Career

Noor's cricketing journey began with his first-class debut in 2019. He quickly progressed through various domestic leagues, including the Big Bash League (Melbourne Renegades), Pakistan Super League (Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators), and the Indian Premier League (Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings).

International Breakthrough

He made his T20I debut in June 2022 against Zimbabwe and his ODI debut in November 2022 against Sri Lanka. His impressive performance at the 2023 Cricket World Cup cemented his place on the world stage.
