Universal Epic Universe
History
Universal Epic Universe, announced in August 2019, is set to be Universal Orlando Resort's largest theme park. The project experienced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but is currently slated to open on May 22, 2025.
Areas and Attractions
Celestial Park
The central hub of the park, featuring Stardust Racers, a dual-tracked launched coaster, and the Constellation Carousel.
Dark Universe
Based on Universal's Classic Monsters, Dark Universe features rides like Curse of the Werewolf and Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.
How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk
Experience the world of How to Train Your Dragon with rides like Hiccup's Wing Gliders and Dragon Racer's Rally.
Super Nintendo World
Featuring Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge and Mine Cart Madness, this land promises an immersive Nintendo experience.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic
This new addition to the Wizarding World will take you on Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, a motion-based dark ride.
Possible Expansions
Future phases may include expansions to Super Nintendo World and potentially attractions based on the musical Wicked.
Location and Infrastructure
Located southeast of the existing Universal Orlando Resort, the park involves significant infrastructure development including road improvements.
