Grant Henslee, one affected passenger, shared his experience of missing his flight due to the incident. He explained how communication breakdowns between Southwest Airlines departments resulted in his reservation being wrongly marked as a no-show, ultimately leading to a canceled flight.

Johnathan Huggins, who arrived from Atlanta, faced additional challenges. His flight was delayed even before he landed, and he's now facing a potential wait of two to three days to retrieve his car from valet parking. "I'm just glad nobody got hurt," he stated, highlighting a collective sense of relief despite the inconvenience.

While some travelers like Angel Studer successfully navigated the chaos by monitoring news updates and planning alternative routes, many others faced significant delays and uncertainty. The parking garage remains closed off with caution tape, displaying visible structural damage including a partially collapsed beam and extensive charring.

Airport officials are working to establish temporary solutions for rental car returns while the garage, which connects directly to the rental car facilities, remains inaccessible.
